The streets bustled with life as people hurried towards their destinations.
Completely lost in her thoughts, Tvisha walked aimlessly along the road.
Tvisha: "Ab main use kahan dhoondhungi..."
She sighed softly and continued walking towards Singhania Mansion.
Just then...
Her footsteps came to an abrupt halt.
A few metres ahead...
Someone was standing there.
Her heartbeat instantly skipped.
No...
It wasn't a stranger.
It was...
Her own body.
Or rather...
The body that once belonged to her.
For a moment, she forgot how to breathe.
Standing right in front of her...
Was the face she had seen every single day in the mirror.
Only this time...
Someone else was living inside it.
At the same moment...
Aryaveer also looked up.
The moment his eyes landed on his own body...
A thousand emotions rushed through him at once.
Relief.
Disbelief.
Anger.
Confusion.
His body was right there...
Yet completely out of his reach.
Slowly...
Both of them took a few steps forward.
Neither spoke.
Neither looked away.
The busy world around them continued as if nothing had happened.
Cars passed by.
People crossed the road.
Conversations echoed in the background.
But for them...
Time had stopped.
For the first time in their lives...
They weren't looking into a mirror.
They were looking at themselves.
Tvisha's POV
"Why does this feel so strange...?"
"It's like someone has stolen... me."
"That body standing in front of me... is mine."
"Yet... it no longer belongs to me."
"Do I no longer have a right over myself?"
Aryaveer's POV
"Watching someone else breathe inside my own body..."
"It feels as though my identity has been stolen."
"I don't even know this girl."
"I've never met her before."
"Then why is she living my life?"
A Few Minutes Later...
Neither of them wanted to create a scene in the middle of the road.
Without saying much...
They entered a quiet café nearby.
Luckily, the place was almost empty.
A table tucked away in the corner gave them enough privacy.
An uncomfortable silence settled between them.
Aryaveer was the first to break it.
Aryaveer: "Batao... kyu kiya tumne yeh?"
Tvisha frowned.
Tvisha: "Kya kiya maine?"
Aryaveer's eyes narrowed.
Aryaveer: "Meri body."
He leaned slightly forward.
Aryaveer: "Kyun churayi meri body? Paiso ke liye?"
Tvisha stared at him in disbelief.
Tvisha: "Excuse me, Mr Aryaveer... Kehna kya chahte hain aap? Maine churayi aapki body?"
Aryaveer: "Of course. Main tum jaise logon ko jaanta hoon. Paiso ke liye kuch bhi karne ko tayyar ho jaate ho."
For a brief moment...
Tvisha simply looked at him.
Then she folded her arms.
Her voice remained calm...
But her eyes reflected hurt.
Tvisha: "Are you out of your mind, Mr Aryaveer? Jis cheez se aap guzar rahe ho na... same cheez se main bhi guzar rahi hoon."
She took a deep breath.
Tvisha: "Aur rahi baat aapke paison ki... toh na hi mujhe aapmein interest hai, na hi aapke paison mein."
She looked straight into his eyes.
Tvisha: "In fact... maine toh aapko aaj se pehle kabhi dekha bhi nahi."
Aryaveer's expression softened slightly.
For the first time...
Doubt replaced anger.
Aryaveer: "Toh... yeh tumne nahi kiya?"
Tvisha immediately shook her head.
Tvisha: "Nahi."
Her voice grew firmer.
Tvisha: "Main apni life mein khush hoon. Mujhe aapki body ya aapke paison ki koi zarurat nahi hai."
She gave him an annoyed look.
Tvisha: "Aur waise bhi... main koi magician thodi na hoon jo souls exchange kar dungi."
Silence.
Neither of them spoke for a few seconds.
Because deep down...
Both had reached the same conclusion.
Neither was responsible.
Finally...
Aryaveer broke the silence.
Aryaveer: "Ab kya karein?"
Tvisha rested her elbows on the table.
Her mind had already started working.
Tvisha: "Humein iska reason dhoondhna hoga."
She paused.
Tvisha: "Yeh samajhna hoga ki humari souls ek dusre se connect kab hui."
Aryaveer nodded slowly.
For the first time...
He agreed with her.
Aryaveer: "Aur jab tak hum apni bodies wapas nahi paa lete..."
"...humein contact mein rehna hoga."
He leaned back in his chair.
Aryaveer: "Meri second priority mera kaam hai."
Tvisha raised an eyebrow.
Tvisha: "Aur first?"
Aryaveer looked at her with a straight face.
Aryaveer: "Tumse matlab."
Tvisha rolled her eyes.
Aryaveer continued,
Aryaveer: "Tumhe meri secretary banna hoga... taaki mere kaam par koi effect na pade."
Tvisha immediately sat up.
Tvisha: "Excuse me!! Main aapki koi secretary nahi banne wali."
Suddenly...
Something struck her.
Her eyes widened.
Tvisha: "Mera college!! Main aapki body mein rehkar college kaise jaungi?"
She looked genuinely worried.
Tvisha: "Main inn teen saalon mein ek bhi off nahi li."
Aryaveer shrugged.
Aryaveer: "Woh tumhari dikkat hai."
Tvisha folded her arms.
Tvisha: "Theek hai."
"Aapka business bhi aapki hi dikkat hai."
For the first time...
Aryaveer found himself speechless.
A second later...
He sighed.
Aryaveer: "Achha... deal karte hain."
Tvisha looked suspiciously.
Tvisha: "Baad mein mukar toh nahi jaoge na?"
Aryaveer's lips curved into a faint smile.
Aryaveer: "Aryaveer Dev Singhania apni baat se kabhi nahi mukarta."
He added,
Aryaveer: "Tumhara pata nahi."
Tvisha smiled confidently.
Tvisha: "Tvisha Sehdev bhi apna wada kabhi nahi todti."
She extended her hand.
Tvisha: "Deal?"
Aryaveer looked at her hand for a second before shaking it.
Aryaveer: "Deal."
Their hands slowly parted.
The deal had been made.
Neither of them had any other choice.
For now...
They had to live each other's lives.
Tvisha was the first to speak.
Tvisha: "Toh theek hai... Subah 8 baje se 11 baje tak aap mere college jaoge aur lectures attend karte hue unhe record karoge. Parallel mein main unhi lectures ko dekh kar padh lungi."
Aryaveer nodded.
Aryaveer: "Fine."
He looked at her seriously.
Aryaveer: "Aur 11 baje ke baad... raat ke 10 baje tak... you'll be my secretary."
A faint smirk appeared on his face.
Aryaveer: "Or should I say... I'll be my own body's secretary."
Tvisha sighed dramatically.
Tvisha: "Fine."
She looked at him.
Tvisha: "Waise bhi... ab choice hi kya hai."
A brief silence settled between them.
Then Tvisha remembered something.
Tvisha: "Aaj Sunday hai... Kal se kaam shuru karte hain."
Aryaveer nodded.
Aryaveer: "Haan..."
Suddenly, his expression changed.
Aryaveer: "Kya!!? Mujhe us ghar mein wapas jaana padega?"
He looked horrified.
Aryaveer: "Us chhote se kamre mein mera dum ghutta hai. Main apne liye alag apartment le sakta hoon."
Tvisha immediately shook her head.
Tvisha: "No."
She smiled softly.
Tvisha: "Bas aaj ke liye ghar chale jao."
"Kal jo karna ho kar lena."
She looked at him seriously.
Tvisha: "Aur Massi ko koi bahana de dena."
Aryaveer let out a defeated sigh.
Aryaveer: "Huh..."
"Theek hai."
Just as both of them stood up...
Something suddenly crossed Tvisha's mind.
Her eyes slowly widened.
She looked at the dress she was wearing.
Then at Aryaveer.
Then back at the dress.
A strange silence filled the air.
Tvisha: "Ek minute..."
She pointed towards herself.
Tvisha: "Main raat ko night suit pehen kar soyi thi..."
"...toh yeh dress..."
Her eyes narrowed.
Tvisha: "A-aapne change kiya?"
Aryaveer almost choked.
Aryaveer: "H-haan..."
Tvisha immediately folded her arms.
Tvisha: "Kitne ghatiya insaan hain aap!"
She frowned.
Tvisha: "Mujhe gold digger keh rahe the... Aur khud ek number ke tharki nikle!"
Aryaveer's eyes widened.
Aryaveer: "Mind your language, Miss Sehdev."
He took a deep breath before speaking again.
Aryaveer: "Mujhe kisi ko dekhne ka koi shauk nahi hai."
He pointed towards the scarf.
Aryaveer: "Maine apni aankhon par tumhara scarf baandha tha... Bathroom ki lights off ki thi... Aur bina dekhe kapde change kiye."
Tvisha blinked.
She looked genuinely surprised.
Tvisha: "Sach?"
Aryaveer simply nodded.
A guilty smile appeared on Tvisha's face.
Tvisha: "I'm sorry..."
Aryaveer shook his head.
Aryaveer: "Bas karo... Aur chalo."
They walked out of the café together.
Just before parting ways...
Tvisha stopped.
Tvisha: "Listen, Mr Aryaveer."
He turned around.
Aryaveer: "Boliye, Miss Sehdev."
Tvisha's expression became serious.
Tvisha: "Raat ko 9 baje se pehle apne room mein chale jaana."
"Andar se lock kar lena."
She paused.
Tvisha: "Chahe koi bhi knock kare..."
"...darwaza mat kholna."
Aryaveer frowned.
Aryaveer: "Kyun?"
Tvisha shook her head.
Tvisha: "Jitna kaha hai utna kijiye."
"Sawal mat poochiye."
Aryaveer raised an eyebrow.
Aryaveer: "Aryaveer Dev Singhania ko order de rahi ho?"
A small smile appeared on Tvisha's face.
Tvisha: "Jab tak humari souls ek dusre ki body mein hain..."
"...tab tak ek dusre ki body ki safety humari responsibility hai."
For a moment...
Aryaveer simply looked at her.
Then, without another argument...
He nodded.
A few minutes later...
At Aryaveer's request, his personal assistant arrived outside the café.
The black luxury car came to a smooth halt.
The moment the driver opened the rear door...
A young man quickly stepped out.
He respectfully greeted the person standing in Aryaveer's body.
Saransh: "Good morning, Sir."
Tvisha smiled awkwardly.
Tvisha: "G-good morning..."
Inside her head...
She panicked.
"Naam toh bata dete apne PA ka..."
Standing beside her, Aryaveer immediately understood what had happened.
Without changing his expression, he casually spoke.
Aryaveer: "Hi, Saransh."
The assistant looked slightly confused.
Saransh: "H-hi..."
Tvisha instantly understood the hint.
She smiled.
Tvisha: "Saransh... yeh meri new secretary hai."
She pointed towards Aryaveer.
Tvisha: "Tvisha."
"From tomorrow, she'll work with us."
Saransh nodded politely.
Saransh: "Okay, Sir."
Soon...
All three of them got into the car.
As per Tvisha's request...
Saransh first dropped Aryaveer near Tvisha's house.
Then he drove towards Singhania Mansion.
The moment Tvisha stepped inside the mansion...
She stopped.
The entire house looked completely different from the morning.
Fresh flowers decorated every corner.
Golden fairy lights sparkled across the walls.
Beautiful balloons floated near the staircase.
The mansion was glowing with celebration.
"Aaj kuch special hai kya?" she wondered.
Before she could think further...
A familiar voice called out.
Swasti: "Aaru!"
She quickly walked towards him.
Swasti: "Tu aa gaya... Kahan chala gaya tha subah-subah bina kisi ko bataye?"
Tvisha smiled nervously.
Tvisha: "Main bas kisi kaam se gaya tha..."
She looked around.
Tvisha: "Waise... aaj kuch hai kya?"
Swasti's smile slowly faded.
She gently held Aryaveer's hand.
Swasti: "Aaru..."
"Main jaanti hoon tu apni behen ko pasand nahi karta..."
"...par woh tujhse bohot pyaar karti hai."
She smiled sadly.
Swasti: "Aaj Manya ka birthday hai."
"Please..."
"Usse baat kar le."
"Baat nahi toh..."
"Sirf wish hi kar de."
"Apni maa ke liye."
There was silence.
Tvisha looked at Swasti for a few seconds.
Then...
A warm smile appeared on her face.
Tvisha: "Maa..."
"Aap please kyun bol rahi ho?"
She smiled even brighter.
Tvisha: "Woh meri behen hai."
"Aaj hum uska birthday saath mein celebrate karenge."
Swasti stood frozen.
Her eyes slowly filled with tears.
At that very moment...
A cheerful voice echoed from behind.
Manya: "Bhai..."
Tvisha turned around.
Standing a few steps away...
Was a nineteen-year-old girl with sparkling eyes.
She looked beautiful in her birthday dress.
Tvisha couldn't help but smile.
She walked towards her.
Tvisha: "Are wah, Manya..."
"Tu toh bohot pyari lag rahi hai."
"Bilkul ek princess."
She playfully took Manya's nazar.
Tvisha: "Thu thu thu..."
"Kisi ki nazar na lage."
The moment those words reached Manya's ears...
Tears rolled down her cheeks.
Manya: "Bhai..."
Her voice trembled.
Manya: "Aapne aaj pehli baar mujhse itne pyaar se baat ki hai..."
Tvisha's smile slowly faded.
"Pehli baar...?"
Inside her heart...
She felt a strange ache.
"Mr Aryaveer..."
"Aap itne bhi khadoos ho?"
Without saying another word...
She opened her arms.
Manya immediately hugged her tightly.
Tvisha gently wrapped her arms around her.
Tvisha: "Sorry, Manya..."
"But don't worry."
"Aaj ke baad aisa kabhi nahi hoga."
"I promise."
She smiled.
Tvisha: "Happy Birthday."
Manya wiped her tears.
Manya: "Mujhe mera bhai aaj sahi maayine mein mil gaya."
"Isse bada gift mere liye aur kya ho sakta hai..."
She looked at him hopefully.
Manya: "Bhai... shaam ko mere saare friends aa rahe hain."
"Aap mere saath rahoge na?"
Tvisha smiled without hesitation.
Tvisha: "Of course."
"Meri behen ka birthday hai."
"Aur main uske saath nahi rahunga..."
"Aisa ho sakta hai kya?"
Manya laughed through her tears.
Manya: "Love you, Bhai."
Later...
Back in Aryaveer's room...
Tvisha sat quietly on the bed.
She looked around.
Then sighed.
"Manya ka birthday hai..."
"Aur mere paas uske liye koi gift bhi nahi..."
A small smile appeared on her lips.
"Blinkit..."
Within a few minutes...
She ordered a soft teddy bear and a beautiful chocolate basket.
Even after checking Aryaveer's wallet...
She chose something simple.
"Har gift ki keemat uski price se nahi..."
"Uske pyaar se hoti hai."
Leaning back against the headboard...
She looked out of the window.
Tvisha (thinking):
"Sach kehte hain..."
"Jinke paas family hoti hai..."
"Kabhi kabhi woh uski asli value samajh hi nahi paate."
"Mr Aryaveer ke paas itni pyari behen hai..."
"Phir bhi woh usse itna door kyun rehte hain...?"
Why does Aryaveer hate talking to Manya?
Will Tvisha and Aryaveer ever return to their own bodies?
Or is this only the beginning of a much bigger mystery...?
To Be Continued...
