The night quietly faded away.
Outside, the storm had disappeared...
But somewhere...
It had left behind something far more dangerous than rain.
The Next Morning
Soft rays of sunlight slipped through the tiny window, filling the room with a warm glow.
Still half-asleep, Aryaveer lazily turned to the other side.
Aryaveer: "Yaar... yeh bistar itna hard kyun lag raha hai..."
The very next second...
THUD!!
He rolled off the bed and landed straight on the floor.
Aryaveer: "AHHHHHH!!"
He immediately opened his eyes in pain.
Confused, he quickly looked around.
His heartbeat slowed...
Then suddenly shot up.
This wasn't his room.
Not even close.
The room was unbelievably small.
In fact...
Even the store room inside Singhania Mansion was bigger than this.
The faded walls were covered with cracks.
A single iron bed stood against one corner without a proper mattress.
Beside it rested an old wooden table with a few books neatly stacked on top.
A small worn-out cupboard completed the room.
Everything looked...
Simple.
Too simple.
Aryaveer slowly stood up.
His sharp eyes carefully scanned every corner.
Aryaveer: "Yeh... main kahan aa gaya hoon?"
The moment those words left his mouth...
He froze.
His expression changed instantly.
He slowly placed a hand on his throat.
Aryaveer: "...Meri awaaz?"
He spoke again.
Aryaveer: "Yeh... meri awaaz ko kya ho gaya...? Yeh... ladki ki awaaz kyun lag rahi hai?"
For the first time...
Panic crept into his eyes.
His gaze suddenly landed on a small mirror hanging on the wall.
Almost hesitantly...
He walked towards it.
And stopped.
His pupils widened.
The face staring back at him...
Wasn't his.
It belonged to...
A girl.
Aryaveer immediately looked down at himself.
Long hair.
Slim hands.
A completely unfamiliar body.
He stumbled backwards before sitting heavily on the bed.
His mind refused to accept what his eyes had just witnessed.
"This isn't possible..."
"No..."
"This can't be real."
He shut his eyes tightly.
Then opened them again.
Nothing changed.
The reflection remained the same.
Aryaveer ran a hand through his hair, trying to think rationally.
Kidnapping?
No.
Dream?
Impossible.
Hallucination?
No...
Everything felt real.
Too real.
His breathing grew heavier.
Finally...
The horrifying possibility crossed his mind.
Aryaveer: "...Kya... meri soul... kisi aur ke saath exchange ho gayi hai?"
Silence.
Even saying those words out loud sounded ridiculous.
But...
Nothing else made sense.
He immediately looked around the room again.
A mobile phone lay beside the pillow.
Without wasting another second, he picked it up.
Aryaveer: "Shayad isse kuch pata chale."
He pressed the power button.
A password screen appeared.
Locked.
Aryaveer clenched his jaw.
Aryaveer: "Damn..."
His eyes suddenly lit up.
Aryaveer: "Singhania Mansion..."
"If this really is a body exchange..."
"Then the owner of this body..."
"...must be in mine."
He immediately stood up.
"I have to go home."
He hurried towards the door.
Halfway there...
He suddenly stopped.
His eyes slowly shifted back towards the mirror.
He looked at the reflection.
Then at himself.
Then sighed.
Aryaveer: "Main... aise bahar jaunga?"
He looked at the oversized night suit.
Aryaveer: "Bilkul nahi."
Walking towards the cupboard, he opened it.
Inside were only a few neatly folded clothes.
After awkwardly looking through them, he picked out a simple sky-blue long dress.
Along with it...
He grabbed a scarf.
Standing outside the bathroom, he looked at the clothes as though they were an exam paper.
His face clearly showed one thing...
He had absolutely no idea what he was doing.
A few moments later...
He silently tied the scarf over his eyes.
Aryaveer: "Bas... aankhen band... aur kaam khatam."
He switched off the bathroom light...
Locked the door...
And somehow managed to change his clothes without looking.
A few minutes later...
He stepped out, looking thoroughly annoyed with life itself.
Picking up the phone once again, he unlocked the room and walked outside.
He didn't bother looking left.
Or right.
He simply headed towards what looked like the main exit.
Unfortunately...
Someone noticed him.
Massi: "Oye madam! Kahan chal di!!?"
Aryaveer didn't even react.
He continued walking.
For him...
Reaching Singhania Mansion mattered far more than answering a stranger.
Behind him...
Massi frowned in confusion.
Massi: "Aaj isse hua kya hai?"
Meanwhile...
A peaceful silence filled the luxurious bedroom inside Singhania Mansion.
Wrapped in an expensive blanket, Tvisha smiled in her sleep before slowly sitting up.
Stretching lazily, she spoke with her eyes still closed.
Tvisha: "One more new day..."
A soft smile appeared on her lips.
She finally opened her eyes.
The smile disappeared.
She blinked once.
Twice.
Three times.
The room was enormous.
Elegant chandeliers.
Modern interiors.
Floor-to-ceiling windows.
Everything looked straight out of a movie.
Tvisha: "Itna bada room!? Yeh toh mere poore ghar jitna bada hai..."
Just then...
She noticed something strange.
Her voice.
It sounded...
Different.
Much deeper.
Her smile slowly faded.
Tvisha: "...Meri awaaz?"
Confused, she looked down.
The very next second...
Tvisha: "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!"
She jumped off the bed in panic.
Her eyes widened in horror.
She stared at herself...
Then quickly covered herself with the blanket lying nearby.
Her heartbeat raced.
Tvisha: "Y-yeh... yeh kya hai!? Mera gender change ho gaya kya!!?"
She shook her head repeatedly.
"No..."
"No..."
Then another thought struck her.
Her expression froze.
Tvisha: "...Ya phir..."
"...Body exchange...?"
She took a step backwards.
Tvisha: "Nahi!! Aisa nahi ho sakta!! No way!!"
At that very moment...
A phone resting on the bedside table began to ring.
Tvisha immediately turned towards it...
The phone continued ringing.
Still shaken, Tvisha hurriedly picked it up.
Just as she was about to answer...
The call disconnected.
She blinked.
Tvisha: "Phone toh kat gaya..."
Determined to find some clue, she pressed the power button.
A lock screen appeared.
She frowned.
Tvisha: "Ispar bhi password laga hua hai..."
Her eyes wandered across the luxurious bedroom.
Everything looked unfamiliar.
Then, lying carelessly on a nearby couch, she noticed a black T-shirt.
Without thinking twice, she quickly wore it.
At least now...
She felt slightly less awkward.
Taking a deep breath, she looked around the room once again.
Tvisha: "Mujhe iss body ke owner se milna hoga... Shayad... woh meri body mein hoga... Mere ghar par..."
That thought alone was enough to make her rush outside.
The moment she stepped out of the room...
She stopped.
The mansion stretched endlessly before her.
The polished marble floor reflected the morning sunlight pouring through the enormous glass windows.
Elegant paintings decorated the walls.
Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling.
It felt less like a house...
And more like a five-star palace.
Tvisha: "Yeh ghar kitna bada hai..."
Carefully, she walked downstairs.
Surprisingly...
The hall was empty.
No one noticed her.
She quietly walked out of the mansion.
But the moment she reached outside...
She realized she had no idea where the main gate was.
Looking around helplessly, she noticed a security guard standing nearby.
Gathering some courage, she walked towards him.
Tvisha: "Hey... Excuse me."
The guard immediately stood straight.
Guard: "Yes, Sir."
Tvisha hesitated.
Tvisha: "W-woh... Main gate k-kahan hai?"
The guard stared at her in complete confusion.
Guard: "Sir... aap mere saath mazaak kar rahe ho?"
Realizing she needed to act more confidently, Tvisha cleared her throat.
Tvisha: "Jitna pucha hai... utna batao."
The guard instantly became nervous.
Guard: "Sorry Sir... Uss taraf."
He pointed towards the main gate.
A relieved smile appeared on Tvisha's face.
Tvisha: "Thank you."
Without waiting another second, she hurried away.
The guard stood frozen.
His mouth slowly fell open.
Guard: "Sir ne... Thank you bola...?"
He looked around as if expecting someone to explain what had just happened.
Guard: "Sir ki tabiyat toh theek hai na...?"
A few moments later...
Tvisha finally reached the mansion's enormous entrance gate.
Another security guard immediately stepped forward.
Security Guard: "Sir... aap paidal kyun ja rahe hain? Main car lekar aaun?"
Tvisha almost forgot she was supposed to be Aryaveer.
She waved both hands in panic.
Tvisha: "N-nahi! Uski zarurat nahi hai... Main thodi der mein aa jaungi..."
The guard looked puzzled.
Tvisha instantly realized her mistake.
She awkwardly smiled.
Tvisha: "I mean... aa jaunga."
The guard nodded slowly.
Security Guard: "Okay, Sir."
As the huge gates opened...
Tvisha stepped outside.
Her destination was clear.
She had to reach her house.
She had to find the owner of this body.
Meanwhile...
Almost at the same time...
Aryaveer finally reached the entrance of Singhania Mansion.
Seeing his own house in front of him should have felt comforting.
Instead...
It felt strangely distant.
Without wasting another moment, he confidently walked towards the gate.
Before he could enter...
A security guard blocked his path.
Security Guard: "Kahan ja rahi hain aap? Kaun hain aap?"
Aryaveer took a deep breath.
Aryaveer: "Hey Mritul... It's me... Aryaveer. Tum mujhe rokoge?"
Mritul looked at him for a few seconds.
Then burst into laughter.
Mritul: "Mere chehre par pagal likha hai kya?"
Aryaveer's patience began disappearing.
Aryaveer: "Bakwaas band karo aur mujhe andar jaane do."
Mritul folded his arms.
Mritul: "Bada ghar dekhte hi sabko andar ghusna hota hai. Chaliye... nikliye yahan se."
Aryaveer clenched his fists.
Aryaveer: "Mritul..."
His voice became dangerously calm.
Aryaveer: "Aane de mujhe wapas..."
"...sabse pehle tujhe hi naukri se nikalunga."
Instead of getting scared...
Mritul looked genuinely concerned.
Mritul: "Mujhe lagta hai aapko mental hospital jaane ki zarurat hai."
He pointed towards the road.
Mritul: "Seedha jaiye... phir left... phir right."
Aryaveer closed his eyes for a brief second.
"Be calm, Aryaveer..."
"Abhi yeh tujhe pehchanne wala nahi hai..."
He took another approach.
Aryaveer: "Mujhe Aryaveer Dev Singhania se milna hai."
Mritul shook his head.
Mritul: "Unse milna itna aasaan nahi hai. Aur waise bhi... woh kuch der pehle hi bahar gaye hain."
Aryaveer's expression changed.
"Matlab..."
"Meri body..."
"Yahan nahi hai..."
He looked towards the mansion one last time.
Now...
He had no idea where to search.
Meanwhile...
After walking for quite some time...
Tvisha finally reached her house.
The moment she entered through the gate...
She saw her Massi sitting in the living room.
Her Massi immediately stood up.
Massi: "Arey arey... Kaun ho ji? Kahan chale ja rahe ho?"
Tvisha hesitated for a moment.
Tvisha: "M-main... Tvisha se milne aaya hoon."
Massi narrowed her eyes.
Massi: "Pehle yeh batao... tum ho kaun?"
Thinking quickly, Tvisha replied,
Tvisha: "Main... Tvisha ka friend hoon."
Massi didn't suspect anything.
She simply nodded.
Without wasting another second...
Tvisha hurried towards her room.
She opened the door.
Empty.
No one was there.
Confused, she immediately returned to the hall.
Tvisha: "Tvisha kahan hai?"
Massi answered casually,
Massi: "Woh aadha ghanta pehle hi ghar se nikal gayi thi."
For a moment...
Everything around Tvisha felt silent.
She lowered her head.
"Agar woh yahan nahi hai..."
"Toh..."
"Main usse dhoondhu kahan?"
Somewhere else...
One was searching for his own body.
The other was searching for her own life.
Neither knew...
They were searching for each other.
Will Tvisha and Aryaveer finally meet?
Was this body swap merely destiny... or someone's carefully planned game?
Will they ever get their own bodies back?
Or has the greatest theft already taken place...?
To Be Continued...
